Professor Gold teaches Environmental Law, Administrative Law (the law of government agencies), and other courses at Rutgers Law School in Newark. He received an A.B. in biology from Harvard University and a J.D. from Yale Law School. Before Joining the Rutgers faculty, Professor Gold spent nearly two decades enforcing federal pollution laws as an attorney and senior attorney with the Environmental Enforcement Section of the United States Department of Justice. His primary research interests are Superfund (hazardous substance cleanup), toxic chemical regulation, and legal claims for toxic injuries, but he is happy to support student work in all aspects of environmental law.
