Deadlines for the 2026–27 Academic Year
Out-of-Cycle Faculty Personnel Actions (often referred to as Hot Pursuits), Endowed Chairs, Special Professorships, and University Professorships should be submitted by the deadlines below.

Submitting Materials for the Board of Governors
Out-of-Cycle Faculty Personnel Actions, Endowed Chairs, and University Professorships
Board materials for Out-of-Cycle Faculty Personnel Actions (often referred to as Hot Pursuits), Endowed Chairs, and University Professorships must be submitted to Angela Mullis, AVPAA, (cc: Jude McLane) by the dates specified above.
BOG and Distinguished Service Professorship Nominations
Nominations for the BOG Professorship and Distinguished Service Professorship are due by October 30. Approved nominations will be submitted to the June BOG meeting. Contact Angela Mullis, AVPAA, with any questions.
Promotion Packets
All appointment/reappointment/promotion packets to be reviewed by the PRC during its regular cycle and involving the initial award of tenure must be submitted to Jude McLane by November 1.
Packets for regular-cycle promotions within the tenured ranks (to Full or Distinguished Professor) are due by December 1.
