Deadlines for the 2025–26 Academic Year
Out-of-Cycle Faculty Personnel Actions (often referred to as Hot Pursuits), Endowed Chairs, Special Professorships, and University Professorships should be submitted by the deadlines below.

Board materials for Out-of-Cycle Faculty Personnel Actions (often referred to as Hot Pursuits), Endowed Chairs, and University Professorships must be submitted to Angela Mullis, AVPAA, (cc: Jude McLane) by the dates specified above.
Nominations for the BOG Professorship and Distinguished Service Professorship are due by October 15. Approved nominations will be submitted to the June BOG meeting. Contact Angela Mullis, AVPAA, with any questions.
All appointment/reappointment/promotion packets to be reviewed by the PRC during its regular cycle and involving the initial award of tenure must be submitted to Jude McLane by November 1.
Packets for regular-cycle promotions within the tenured ranks (to Full or Distinguished Professor) are due by December 1.
