Biography
Philip Paladino, J.D., serves as assistant vice president for academic planning in University Academic Affairs at Rutgers. In this role, Mr. Paladino leads the Office of Academic Planning, which supports all chancellor-led units (CLUs) in the research, development, and approval of new degree and certificate programs, as well as revisions to existing offerings. Working with the Academic Program Approval and Design Committee, he developed and implemented the current university-level academic program approval process. He also develops guidelines and policies to ensure consistency in academic programs across the CLUs.
Paladino has held various positions in academic affairs during the past 25 years at Rutgers, most recently as the director of administration and planning in the Office of Institutional Research and Academic Planning.
Prior to his time at the university, Paladino was a law clerk for two New Jersey Superior Court judges. He received a Bachelor of Arts in history from Rutgers College and earned a Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law.
