2017-2018 Faculty Year-End Awards

Held on May 3, 2018, the awards ceremony honors outstanding members of the Rutgers community selected by their colleagues for exceptional contributions to teaching, research, or public service through a program of five awards.  For each award, the recipient receives a commemorative certificate and an honorarium.

  • Warren I. Susman Award for Excellence in Teaching, $1,000 honorarium (tenured faculty only)
  • Board of Trustees Award for Excellence in Research, $1,000 honorarium (tenured faculty only)
  • Rutgers Faculty Scholar-Teacher Award, $1,000 honorarium (tenured faculty only)
  • Board of Trustees Research Fellowship for Scholarly Excellence, $1,000 research account (newly tenured faculty only)
  • Presidential Fellowship for Teaching Excellence, $1,000 research account (newly tenured, faculty only)
  • Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching, $1,000 honorarium (non-tenure track, full-time faculty only)
  • Rutgers College Class of 1962 Presidential Public Service Award, $2,500 honorarium (faculty, staff, students)
  • Ernest E. McMahon Class of 1930 Award, $1,000 honorarium (faculty, staff, students)
