Lucio Volino Selected as an American Pharmacists Association Fellow

Lucio Volino, a clinical professor and director of assessment at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy who has trained hundreds of students to provide immunizations and disease testing, was elected as a fellow of the American Pharmacists Association by its Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management.
The academy selects 10 fellows each year who demonstrate achievements in professional practice and outstanding service through activities in the association and other organizations.
“When reflecting on being selected as a fellow, I see it as a commitment moving forward rather than a recognition of previous work,” said Volino. “It serves as a reminder to leverage my experiences and support faculty and students to be more involved in service and leadership endeavors.”
