2024-25 Cheryl Wall Faculty Fellowships

April 15, 2024

Members of the Rutgers Community:

I am pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024–25 Cheryl Wall Faculty Fellowships. These fellowships, in the form of a course release, recognize full-time faculty committed to addressing issues faced by the university’s diverse student population. The fellowships pay tribute to Dr. Cheryl Wall, who was a champion of these efforts, pioneered cluster hiring at Rutgers and helped guide various diversity projects, including the Rutgers AAUP-AFT's work on race and gender equity. These fellowships are available through a negotiated agreement between Rutgers University and the Rutgers AAUP-AFT. Faculty interested in applying for a future fellowship may do so in the next cohort to be named in 2025–26.

Please join me in congratulating this year's twelve fellows from across all four chancellor-led units for their exemplary representation of the university's commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.
