Mock Job and Chalk Talks

A two-part practice series for postdocs and research staff. Are you planning to apply for faculty positions and would like to practice for the academic job market in a supportive setting? 

We are organizing mock faculty interview practice sessions from August through December. Participants will commit to one month and complete two practice sessions:

Session 1: Research seminar in the format of a faculty job talk

Session 2: Chalk talk on whiteboard

Both sessions receive feedback from a mock faculty hiring committee.  Preference will be given to first-time presenters.
