The Big Ten consortium of 18+ institutions is hosting three virtual career fairs this October—free to attend and designed specifically for MS, PhD, and postdoctoral scholars like you. ·       BIG10 Graduate Student & Postdoc Industry Recruitment Event (GSPIRE)
Thursday, October 23 | ⏰ 12:00 – 4:00 PM ET
Open to: MS, PhD, and Postdoc students from all disciplines
Explore: Internships and full-time careers in industry and government

Flexible Participation – For Those Who Can and Can’t Attend Virtually

1.               To attend the live virtual fair:

·        Students must have a Handshake account.

o   If a grad student or postdoc doesn’t have Handshake access, they may be eligible for afree alumni account through a Big Ten institution where they earned a prior degree (e.g., BS or MS).

o   If students use this alum backdoor, then students should update their School Yearsetting to reflect their current graduate/postdoc status to gain access, as these fairs are restricted to PhD & Postdoc (and MS for GSPIRE) talent (see below image).

2.               Students who cannot attend the fair can participate by:

·       Submitting CVs (for AHFs) or resumes (for GSPIRE) via the provided Qualtrics links
