As a junior, Shreya's time at Rutgers has helped her further fuel her passion for aerospace engineering—a growing and dynamic field that she has adored due to her interest in space travel, flight, and astronomy. She has thus far truly enjoyed studying this field and building foundational knowledge around it with the courses and extra-curricular projects she took at Rutgers. During the fall of 2021, she became a research assistant in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Advanced Controls Laboratory - and part of her role involved brainstorming, designing, manufacturing, assembling, and testing versions of a VTOL drone. As an engineer, she loves problem-solving and she considers it to be one of her skills. She is delighted to take on this opportunity to learn more about her field, work with esteemed professors and colleagues, and to come up with innovative solutions to wind energy.
