Rion Hunter
Project (Working) Title: Participatory Governance in Offshore Wind Development
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Victoria Ramenzoni
Rion recently completed his BA in Criminal Justice at Rutgers University-Camden, and is currently completing an MA with a focus on public policy and criminal justice. His professional experience spans over 12 years in veterinary care, research at the NRCCFI under Dr. Ann Adalist Estrin, legislative support as a Congressional aide intern for Congressman Donald Norcross, and community reintegration efforts with Pathstone, a non-profit organization.
Rion actively participates in Rutgers' Student Advisory Committee, TRIO, and the Criminal Justice Organization, and contribute to national discussions through his involvement with the FICGN and the Petey Greene National Advisory Committee.
Rion aims to apply his expertise in policy analysis and community engagement to the governance of the Offshore Wind Development project, promoting inclusive and sustainable stakeholder participation.
