Call for Ideas and Leaders for Rutgers Postdoc Affinity Groups (Proposals Due June 28)

Affinity groups are a wonderful way to get people with similar backgrounds and interests together to create community. Rutgers Health Office of Postdoctoral Affairs along with the Rutgers Office of Postdoctoral Advancement invite proposals from individual postdocs or postdoc teams at Rutgers interested in proposing and facilitating postdoc affinity groups organized around shared social identities, experiences, or interests (e.g. ethnicity, race, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, ability, research). Postdocs across all disciplines are invited to apply.

Selected applicants will be invited to facilitate their affinity group. The postdoc office will provide support, as well as suggest resources and activities postdocs may use to guide their affinity group’s work. The postdoc office will also coordinate the process of recruiting postdocs to participate in the affinity group.
