Framing the Value of Diversity & Inclusion in Higher Education: Setting the Research Agenda

Submit Proposal

On October 5, 6, & 7th, 2017, Rutgers University will convene a national academic conference to feature the latest diversity and inclusion-related research, scholarship, and best practices to consider current trends, values, and intersectional perspectives and issues.  The aim of the conference is to increase awareness of new directions in current and emerging research particularly intersectional, interdisciplinary and innovative critical scholarship.  Scholars will share innovative national studies, examine existing challenges, opportunities, and explore current findings.  Keynote speakers will include Nancy Cantor, Chancellor of Rutgers University–Newark. A leading voice on inclusion, diversity, and full participation, she speaks and writes frequently on these issues.
