Call for Proposals: Innovative Conference for First-Generation College Students

August 2, 2023

Dear Rutgers Community,

I am excited to announce that the Educational Equity and Excellence Collaborative(E3C) is seeking proposals for an upcoming conference focused on supporting first-generation college students, students who are members of historically underrepresented groups, and students from economically less advantaged communities. The conference aims to showcase Rutgers' unwavering commitment to inclusive excellence, affordability, and opportunities in access and student success. We will bring together educators, researchers, practitioners, and advocates to share innovative ideas and best practices for empowering and learning from these extraordinary students.

This conversation is especially timely given the Supreme Court decisions on race-conscious college admissions and student loan debt relief.
