Pew Scholars Program in Biomedical Sciences

The University has been invited to submit one nomination for consideration for the Pew Scholars Program in Biomedical Sciences for 2022. Please note that nominations are limited to junior faculty members who hold a doctorate in medicine or biomedical sciences and must not have been appointed as an assistant professor at any institution prior to June 14, 2017. These awards “support assistant professors of outstanding promise in science relevant to the advancement of human health.” The program seeks to assist candidates with “particularly creative and pioneering approaches.” The award provides $300,000 in flexible support ($75,000 per year for a four-year period).


  • To nominate a candidate, please submit a letter of nomination, along with the nominee's curriculum vitae, and a research project summary to Dr. Angela Mullis. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
