Faculty Development

The Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs is pleased to offer three signature cohort programs to support faculty development. The office also offers writing support, common interest groups, and individual mentoring sessions that are open to all faculty—universitywide.

Cohort Programs 

Rutgers Connection Network (RCN) Mentoring Program 

  • What: Year long faculty to faculty mentoring partnerships
                  beyond the departmental level
  • Who: All faculty: universitywide, all disciplines, all levels

OASIS Leadership & Professional Development - NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!

  • What:  Semester long skills development through workshops, peer-mentoring
                  and individual coaching
  • Who:   All female faculty: universitywide, all disciplines, all levels

Program for Early Career Excellence (PECE)   - NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!

  • What: Three-year cohort for network building and skill development. Includes workshop, mentoring,
                  writing support and individual coaching
  • Who: All faculty from all disciplines in first 3 years at Rutgers
