Faculty-to-Faculty Mentoring Program

Apply by May 10, 2017

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the call for applications for the 2017-18 Rutgers Connection Network (RCN) Faculty-to-Faculty Mentoring Program.  Designed to help faculty increase their engagement and scholarly productivity, the RCN Mentoring Program provides the infrastructure, training, and facilitation that enable faculty to participate in effective and collaborative mentoring partnerships with other faculty beyond the departmental level.  Through these programs, faculty can address such issues as their own career advancement or how to help another advance, and they can gain mentoring skills as a mentee or mentor.

All interested faculty, universitywide—from all disciplines and all levels—are invited to apply to participate as a mentee, mentor, or peer-mentor. Please see the attached flyer for more information and apply online by Wednesday, May 10:

We also invite you to visit our updated faculty development webpage which includes information about the other activities my office offers to support faculty development—including cohort programs, writing support, common interest groups, and individual mentoring sessions that are open to all faculty - universitywide.

The webpage also includes information about campus-specific initiatives and a faculty development suggestion box. We look forward to your continued feedback and involvement as we work to support, inventory and promote the various mentoring and faculty development related activities offered across the university.

Thank you and wishing you a productive end of semester,

Barbara A. Lee
